A great good morning to all my friends and neighbors in Internet Land! And to family who might drop by, brunch today of Thai coconut chicken and brown rice.

Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.
Proverbs 7:15, NASB

Greetings!

What a nice greeting! Too bad it's from a predator, who is greeting the naive young man with the intent of robbing him, and perhaps adding murder to robbery.

He's not a STUPID young man; he's also not an ignorant young man. He's just naive. Specifically, he cannot realize that all those things his mama and daddy warned him about are happening RIGHT NOW.

Naively, he thinks the things he was warned against are very rare occurrences, that only happen to somebody else. He's wrong, in both counts.

He hears her say she has been looking for him, and he thinks “Wow, I must be something special, because this hot chick was looking for ME!”

Sorry, dude. She is lying to you. She wasn't looking for YOU; any foolish young man would do. You just happened to get picked today.

And you got picked because you look and act like a victim. You are wandering around the city streets in the evening, going nowhere special, and it SHOWS. You might as well have a target on your back, and THAT'S why you've been approached.

She's very direct, and grabs him, and she is a hot chick, and then...she says something religious, about peace offerings and paying vows. And you, silly boy, allow that to overcome the CLEAR information that this ISN'T a person to take home to your mom.

You AREN'T doing YOUR job, young fool, and what happens next? It's YOUR fault, not hers.

Peace be on your household.
